We are not a school, and this is not accredited education

Mamas In Session is a homeschool resource written by one mother, Krystal Marie, out of her own experience teaching her own children. It is encouragement and material you may find useful. It is not a school.

We are not an accredited educational institution. We are not a licensed teaching, tutoring or childcare provider. We do not issue grades, credits, transcripts, diplomas or certificates, and nothing you buy or read here carries academic accreditation of any kind.

Nothing here is a curriculum requirement, an assessment, or a statement of what your child must know at any age. Our worksheets and guides are self-directed materials offered for your consideration.

You are the teacher, and the judgment is yours

You are solely responsible for deciding what, when and how to teach your own children. You know them; we do not. Every suggestion on this site is exactly that — a suggestion — and you should adapt, delay or ignore any of it as your own judgment directs.

You are also solely responsible for complying with the homeschool laws of your state or country: notices of intent, record keeping, assessment, immunisation, compulsory attendance age and anything else that applies to you. Requirements vary widely and change. Our Resources page points at places to start reading; it is a starting point, not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for checking your own state's current rules yourself.

Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, developmental, legal, tax or financial advice. If you have a concern about your child's development, learning or health, speak to a qualified professional.

Safety around activities and materials

Many of our lessons involve hands-on activities: scissors, glue, paint, small objects, stones, food items, plants, nature walks and simple experiments. These carry ordinary risks including choking, allergic reaction, injury and mess.

Supervise your children at all times, judge every activity against your own child's age and abilities, and skip anything that is not right for them. You accept full responsibility for any activity you choose to carry out.

Your purchases, and why sales are final

Worksheets are digital files. They are delivered to your library the moment payment is confirmed, and they cannot be returned once downloaded.

For that reason all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, exchanges or cancellations on digital products.

The one exception is a genuine fault on our side. If a file is corrupt, will not download, is the wrong file, or was charged twice, write to us and we will fix it or refund it. Changing your mind, buying the wrong grade level, or not using what you bought are not faults, and we will not refund those.

Prices, the member discount and what is included may change at any time. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

What you may do with what you buy

When you buy a worksheet you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it with the children of your own household, for as long as your account exists. Print as many copies as your own family needs.

• You may print and reprint for your own children as often as you like. Downloading from your library is limited per purchase, and your library shows how many you have left; buying it again restores the allowance.
• You may use it in a small co-op session you personally teach, provided each other family buys their own copy.
• You may not resell, sublicense, share, email, upload or post the files anywhere, publicly or privately.
• You may not use them commercially — in a paid class, a school, a daycare or a tutoring business — without written permission.
• You may not remove our name or branding, claim the work as yours, or use it to train a machine learning model.
• All content on this site remains our copyright. Nothing here transfers ownership.

Your free membership

Membership is free and gives you the member price, the free printables, your download library and access to the forum. We may change what membership includes, and we may end the programme, with notice where we reasonably can.

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it. One person, one account — accounts may not be shared or sold.

You may close your account at any time by writing to us. Closing it removes your access to your library.

The forum: be kind, or lose access

The forum exists so homeschool mothers can encourage each other. It only works if it stays kind, and we will protect that firmly.

• No harassment, contempt, insults, pile-ons or personal attacks on another member.
• No spam, advertising, affiliate links, recruiting or promoting your own business or products.
• No adult, violent, hateful or otherwise obscene content.
• No sharing another person's private information, photographs of other people's children, or anything told to you in confidence.
• No presenting medical, psychological, legal or financial advice as though you were qualified to give it.
• No impersonating Krystal Marie, our staff or another member, and no bots or automated posting.
• No sharing, linking or reposting our paid worksheets.

How we enforce that

Posts are screened automatically before they appear, and questionable ones are held for a human to read rather than published or deleted outright. Any member can report a post.

We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, edit or remove any post, lock or delete any thread, suspend your ability to post, remove your forum access entirely, or close your account. Serious or repeated breaches will result in permanent removal.

Losing forum access for breaking these rules does not entitle you to a refund of anything you have bought, and your existing library will normally remain available to you.

You keep ownership of what you write, but by posting you give us a licence to display, store, moderate and remove it. Posts are the personal opinions of the members who wrote them, not ours, and we do not endorse or verify them.

No guarantees

This site and everything on it are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We do not promise any particular educational result. We do not promise that your child will reach any standard, pass any assessment, or be prepared for any school, test or grade level. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure against every threat.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mamas In Session, Krystal Marie and anyone working with us will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or educational opportunity, arising out of your use of this site or its materials.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Mamas In Session, Krystal Marie and anyone working with us from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with: your use of the site or its materials; any activity you carry out with your children based on anything found here; your compliance or non-compliance with the homeschool or education laws that apply to you; anything you post in the forum; your breach of these terms; or your infringement of anyone else's rights.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and you agree the courts of New Jersey are where any dispute is heard.
